White Ribbon Day 2025
25 November – Standing Together Against Violence
Today is White Ribbon Day, an international campaign that calls on men and boys to speak out and take action to end violence, abuse, and harassment towards women and girls.
The white ribbon represents a personal commitment:
to never use, excuse, or stay silent about violence, and to challenge the harmful beliefs and behaviours that can perpetuate it.
White Ribbon Day also marks the beginning of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, observed globally from 25 November to 10 December. This period encourages communities everywhere to raise awareness, support survivors, and strive for a safer, more respectful society.
Solihull Moors Foundation and the Solihull Moors FC are proud to stand alongside West Midlands Police through the We Speak Up campaign. Together, we are committed to promoting equality, respect, and safety—both within our club and throughout the borough.
We encourage everyone associated with Solihull Moors — players, staff, supporters, volunteers, and partners — to play their part:
challenge unacceptable behaviour, call out abuse, and support those who may not feel able to speak up themselves.
Football carries a powerful collective voice. Today, we use that platform to send a clear and united message:
WE SPEAK UP. VIOLENCE HAS NO PLACE HERE.
