Solihull Moors Foundation Welcomes New Volunteer Manager
Solihull Moors Foundation is delighted to announce the appointment of Hiten Pankhania as our new Volunteer Manager, bringing a wealth of experience in community engagement and volunteer coordination to the role.
In this position, Hiten will oversee the recruitment, support, and placement of volunteers across our structured programs, including care home visits, litter picking, and matchday support. His leadership will help strengthen volunteer participation, ensuring well-organised and meaningful opportunities for individuals to contribute to their community.
Working closely with the Community Operations Manager, Hiten will play a vital role in aligning volunteer initiatives with the Foundation’s wider strategic objectives. He will focus on expanding volunteer capacity and creating inclusive opportunities that enhance community engagement and long-term impact.
With a passion for fostering collaboration and civic engagement, Hiten is set to lead our volunteer programs towards greater sustainability and effectiveness. His appointment comes at a significant time, as this week is Volunteers Week 2025 — a nationwide celebration of the people who give their time to make a difference.
As we mark this important week, Solihull Moors Foundation is proud to thank and celebrate all our incredible volunteers, sponsors, and supporters. Whether it’s lending a hand on matchdays, engaging in community clean-ups, or bringing smiles to care home residents, your dedication is what powers everything we do.
“Our volunteers are more than just helping hands—they are the driving force behind our mission,” said Joe Butler, Community Operations Manager. “Volunteers Week gives us the perfect opportunity to say thank you to everyone who selflessly supports our work. We are especially excited to welcome Hiten to the team, and we look forward to building on the strong foundations laid by our volunteer community.”
We also extend sincere gratitude to our sponsors and partners, whose continued support allows us to expand our reach and deliver impactful programmes across Solihull.
To all who give their time and energy—thank you. This week, and every week, we celebrate you.
