Solihull Moors Foundation welcomes Dave Lawrence as Women’s Football Development Manager!
Solihull Moors Foundation is delighted to announce the official appointment of Dave Lawrence as our new Women’s Football Development Manager, marking an exciting step forward for the foundation’s continued commitment to advancing the women’s game.
Dave joins Solihull Moors with a wealth of experience, having previously served as Director of Women’s Football at West Bromwich Albion FC. His track record of strategic leadership, player development, and growing women’s football programmes makes him the perfect fit to drive the next phase of growth at Solihull Moors.
In his new role, Dave will be instrumental in enhancing the foundation’s female football structure, supporting player progression, and working closely with coaches to create a clear development pathway from grassroots through to senior football. His expertise will ensure that Solihull Moors continues to provide high-quality opportunities for female players to thrive both on and off the pitch.
“This is an incredibly exciting time for women’s football, and I’m thrilled to be joining Solihull Moors to help shape the future of the women’s programme,” said Dave Lawrence. “The foundation has ambitious plans, and I look forward to working alongside players, coaches, and staff to create a strong, sustainable pathway for female footballers.”
Dave’s appointment comes as the foundation expands its women’s football setup, including the introduction of a new U18’s team, further strengthening the pipeline for young female players aiming to progress within the club. His leadership will be pivotal in aligning the Women’s Development Programme with the Women’s First Team and the U18’s.
Solihull Moors Foundation looks forward to the impact Dave will have on the growth, professionalism, and long-term success of the women’s football programme. His arrival marks the beginning of an exciting new era, reinforcing the foundation’s commitment to developing the next generation of female talent.
