Solihull Moors Foundation Launches New Website To Expand Support For Local Young People

Solihull Moors Foundation has launched a new standalone website designed to help more young people and families across the borough access its sport, education and wellbeing programmes. The charity now has its own dedicated online platform thanks to support from Sport 4 Life UK through its Impact Partnerships programme.

The new website gives young people, parents, schools, community organisations, partners and supporters easier access to information about the Foundation’s wide range of programmes, services and opportunities, while providing a central hub for engagement across all areas of our work.
Sport 4 Life UK launched its Impact Partnerships programme in 2022 to help grassroots youth organisations strengthen their reach, sustainability and long-term impact. In the West Midlands, the programme has already supported organisations including The Inspire Group, Sports Key, Pat Benson Boxing Academy and Our Community Foundation.
Joe Butler, Head of Solihull Moors Foundation, said:
“We’re proud to launch a platform that better reflects the scale, ambition and impact of Solihull Moors Foundation.
As our programmes continue to grow, it is important that young people, families, community organisations and partners can easily access information, opportunities and support through a modern and dedicated online presence.
The website will play a key role in helping us reach more people, strengthen existing partnerships, and showcase the positive impact being delivered across our communities every week.
We’re incredibly grateful to Sport 4 Life UK for their support, funding and expertise in helping bring this project to life.”
Rob Wells, COO of Sport 4 Life UK, added:
“In today’s challenging funding environment, collaboration between charities is more important than ever.
Through our Impact Partnerships model, we’re helping grassroots organisations build their capacity and increase their reach, rather than simply expanding our own delivery. We’ve already seen excellent results from the programme, including partners increasing their revenue and growing participation. We’re excited to see the positive impact this new website will have for Solihull Moors Foundation and the young people it supports.”
As the charitable arm of Solihull Moors FC, the foundation uses the power of sport and education to improve health, wellbeing, employability and community cohesion across Solihull and the wider West Midlands. Working with schools, community groups, local authorities and businesses, the foundation supports around 1,600 participants every week through a diverse range of programmes and initiatives.
Based in Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham, Sport 4 Life UK supports more than 3,500 under-resourced young people aged 11 to 29 across the West Midlands each year through sport-themed employability, mentoring and personal development programmes.
