Solihull Moors Foundation Fundraiser Night at Sans Restaurant
Solihull Moors Foundation were proud to host a truly special fundraiser evening at Sans Restaurant, welcoming over 70 guests who came together to support the Foundation’s ambition to be at the forefront of removing barriers to participation and championing inclusive opportunities for all.
The evening celebrated not only the Foundation’s work, but also its clear commitment to leading positive change, ensuring that individuals of all abilities can access meaningful, high-quality opportunities through sport and community activity.
Guests enjoyed a superb three-course meal, generously provided by Sans Restaurant. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Dennis Yau and the entire Sans team for their incredible hospitality and generosity, which played a vital role in the success of the night.
The evening was introduced and hosted by Victoria Shaw, CEO of Solihull Moors Foundation, who welcomed guests and outlined the Foundation’s mission and growing impact within the community. Solihull Moors FC Chairman, Darryl Eales, also addressed attendees, speaking passionately about the strong bond between the football club and the Foundation, and sharing his own commitment to serving the local community.
The event was headlined by Lee Carsley and Scott, who delivered powerful contributions centred around the Foundation’s Ability Counts programme. They shared personal, real-life stories from their journeys with the Foundation, highlighting the life-changing impact that inclusive sport and accessible opportunities can have.
We were honoured to welcome the Madam Mayor of Solihull, whose presence further underlined the importance of the evening and who later played a pivotal role in leading the raffle draw.
Scott Langford, Learning and Accessibility Manager, also spoke about how funds raised on the night will directly support the Foundation’s Ability Counts provision, helping to remove financial and practical barriers so more individuals with disabilities can access regular, inclusive football and activity sessions.
Thanks to the outstanding generosity of everyone in the room, through ticket purchases, donations, raffle entries, and silent auction bids, the Foundation is strengthening its ability to lead the way in creating inclusive pathways and ensuring that no one is excluded because of cost, circumstance, or additional need.
Solihull Moors Foundation would like to sincerely thank everyone who attended, donated, and supported the event. Together, we are putting inclusion at the forefront, breaking down barriers, and opening doors for those who need it most.
