Solihull Moors Foundation and Solihull Moors FC Bring Christmas Joy to Birmingham Children’s Hospital
Solihull Moors Foundation and Solihull Moors FC were delighted to support Birmingham Children’s Hospital yesterday by helping to deliver and hand out Christmas gifts to young patients across the hospital.
Representatives from both the Foundation and the Club including Joe Butler, Scott Langford, Eddie Turner, Kate Willetts, as well as players Conor Wilkinson, Jamey Osborne and Jake Wakeling. spent the afternoon moving and distributing large crates of presents around the wards, ensuring every child received a special gift to enjoy on Christmas morning.
Joe Butler, Community Operations Manager for the Foundation, said:
“It was a fantastic afternoon and a really special experience for everyone involved. Supporting Birmingham Children’s Hospital is something we’re incredibly proud of and days like this show the impact football clubs can have beyond the pitch. We’re excited about the potential for a long-term partnership and look forward to seeing where we can take this relationship in the future.”
Kate Willetts, Marketing Manager at Solihull Moors, added:
“It was such a wholesome afternoon and one we’ll all remember. Seeing the smiles on everyone’s faces as we delivered presents to each ward made it incredibly special. We left feeling like we’d genuinely done something good for the children and the charity and we’re grateful to Birmingham Children’s Hospital for welcoming us in.”
Everyone at Solihull Moors Foundation and Solihull Moors FC would like to extend their thanks to Birmingham Children’s Hospital for the outstanding work they carry out throughout the year, and for giving us the opportunity to help spread a little festive cheer this Christmas.
