Remembering Arthur: Solihull Moors v Birmingham City
Wednesday 23rd July 2025: Arthur Cup Match
The match marked the fourth annual staging of the Arthur Cup, held in memory of Arthur Labinjo-Hughes. Both clubs and supporters united to support the NSPCC and charitable arms of both clubs – Solihull Moors Foundation, Birmingham City Foundation.
Solihull Moors Foundation would like to thank all the supporters and friends of the Foundation as we work on programs that directly benefit the local community.
The NSPCC would like to thank the Solihull Moors and Birmingham City for hosting the Arthur Cup to honour the life of Arthur Labinjo-Hughes.

“We are a national charity with a local impact, and events like the Arthur Cup do so much to help raise the issue of child protection and to enforce the message that safeguarding is everyone’s duty and responsibility. We would also like to thank the two clubs, and all the fans and supporters, for everything they are doing in aid of the NSPCC. Over 80 per cent of the charity’s funding comes from public donations, and every penny raised during the Arthur Cup match goes directly towards essential services such as Childline and the NSPCC Helpline that do so much to help children and families living in the West Midlands.”
Caroline Morgan: NSPCC Supporter Fundraising Manager – Midlands
