Moors Tribute Festival Brings Solihull Community Together
The Moors Tribute Festival, held at Damson Park on Sunday 3rd May, was a fantastic celebration of community spirit, bringing together supporters, families and local residents for a day full of energy and enjoyment.
The Foundation was proud to be part of the event, running a dedicated stall that welcomed children and families throughout the day. A highlight was our fun penalty shootout, which was completely free and accessible to all children. It proved hugely popular, giving young participants the chance to get involved, stay active and enjoy the football experience in a relaxed and inclusive environment. Alongside this, we hosted our own raffle, featuring a range of fantastic prizes that generated great excitement and engagement.
Hiten Pankhania, Foundation Partnership Manager stated: “The Moors Tribute Fest captured everything we stand for as a Foundation, connection, inclusion and creating moments that bring joy to our community. It was fantastic to see so many people come together and celebrate with us.”
We would like to extend a sincere thank you to Solihull Moors Football Club for their generous support, including the donation of two match-worn shirts which were standout raffle prizes. The raffle winner will be announced tomorrow at 6pm, and we look forward to sharing the exciting news. A special thank you also go to Darryl Eales for his continued backing of the Foundation and his ongoing commitment to strengthening our community impact.
We are also incredibly grateful to Ian Rogers, Sonia Kaur and the entire Iconic team for organising such a memorable event. Their efforts created a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere, filled with smiles, laughter and dancing, truly bringing the community together in one place.
It was a privilege for the Foundation to support such a joyful occasion and to play a small part in a day that showcased the very best of the Solihull community.
