Moors Make Their Mark On The Women’s Football Fair

Solihull Moors Women FC were proud to play a key role at the hugely successful Women’s Football Fair, held on 30th November at the vibrant Hockley Social Club. The event, run in partnership with Throwback Tops, brought together fans, creators, collectors, and clubs from across the country to celebrate the rapidly growing world of women’s football.

With vendors showcasing innovative, bespoke, and fan-focused products, the Fair offered something for every supporter. From retro memorabilia to modern merch, creative artwork to specialised apparel, the day was a true celebration of the culture and community that surrounds the women’s game. The day was topped off by a Q&A session with AVWFC Star, Lucy Parker.
A Stand to Remember
Our Solihull Moors stand proved to be a real crowd-pleaser throughout the day. Visitors were treated to a special appearance from Soli, who was quick to charm fans of all ages and pose for plenty of photos. One of the most talked-about features was the chance to get up close with our own collection of retro Moors shirts, sparking nostalgia and plenty of conversation among supporters and shirt collectors alike.
We also brought the fun with a range of interactive games, competitions, and prizes—keeping the Moors energy high and the crowd fully engaged from start to finish.
Building the Future, Celebrating the Present
Events like the Women’s Football Fair are vital in building the visibility and fandom around the women’s game, and we were delighted to meet so many new faces—many of whom were discovering Solihull Moors Women for the first time.
Our team is committed to meaningful and ongoing fan engagement, and we hope that our involvement in such a lively and welcoming event has inspired new supporters to follow our journey on and off the pitch.
A huge thank you to Throwback Tops, Hockley Social Club, all the vendors, and of course every fan who stopped by to chat, play, or pose with Soli. We can’t wait for the next opportunity to celebrate women’s football together.
Up the Moors!
