Moors Foundation hosted a Christmas Meal at the Regency Hotel

Solihull Moors Foundation hosted a Christmas Meal on Sunday at the Regency Hotel, and it was truly a heart-warming afternoon which was filled with joy, entertainment, and delicious food.

There were around 80 people who came together to celebrate the season, and the afternoon started with some lively games and a fun Christmas quiz to set the cheerful tone for the day.
The Regency Hotel then kindly provided a delicious three-course meal which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
Afterwards, the quiz winner was announced but the highlight for many was the sing-along and dance, creating smiles all-round. To end the day, a raffle brought excitement to everyone as all had a ticket and a few lucky winners had their moment to shine.
Community Operations Manager for the Foundation, Joe Butler, has shown what such an amazing event this was:
“Christmas is a time to come together, share joy, and create lasting memories. At Solihull Moors and the Foundation, we’re committed to building a strong, supportive community, and yesterday wouldn’t have been possible without incredible support.”
“I’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our amazing volunteers – your time, energy, and care make all the difference – to Nick and the Regency Hotel staff for your generosity in providing this wonderful meal and venue, to Ian Rogers and Solihull Summer Fest for your continued support and generosity to our wonderful community, and lastly, a massive thank you to our wonderful guests for bringing so much joy and making this day truly special.”
“Together, we’re creating moments where everyone feels valued and included. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!” He concluded.
Chairman of Solihull Moors, Darryl Eales, was also in attendance at the Foundation’s meal, commenting: “I was fortunate to attend the wonderful Christmas lunch hosted by the Solihull Moors Foundation and Regency hotel.”
“It was a truly joyful and humbling occasion and it will be a highlight of this festive period.”
“It was a timely reminder of the importance of local football clubs to be active members of the local community and of the amazing work that our Foundation does each and every day.”
“Thanks to everyone associated with the event, especially the Foundation team and to the families who attended who represented the best of the spirit of the season.”
The Foundation would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone involved who brought a touch of magic during this season.
