Mental Health Awareness Week: Taking Action Together
This week marks Mental Health Awareness Week, an important moment for us all to pause, reflect, and support one another.
Mental health touches every single one of us. Whether it’s something we experience personally or through the people around us, its impact is far-reaching and deeply important. Taking the time to check in with ourselves and others, having open and honest conversations, and showing kindness can make a meaningful difference.
At Solihull Moors and Solihull Moors Foundation, we are proud to be committed to promoting positive mental wellbeing across our community. This year’s theme, “Action,” highlights the importance of taking proactive steps to support mental health.
We recognise the powerful role that physical activity and community connection play in improving wellbeing. Being active can help reduce stress, boost mood, and build confidence, while being part of a supportive community fosters a strong sense of belonging.
Together, we can help break the stigma surrounding mental health. By encouraging conversation, offering support, and taking action, we can create a more understanding and compassionate environment, not just during this week, but every day.
