Matchday With Meaning

Solihull Moors Foundation remains firmly committed to the ongoing 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, reinforcing our stance against all forms of abuse within our club and wider community.

Yesterday’s Solihull Moors Women’s match was dedicated to White Ribbon Day, providing an important platform to show our support for the campaign, which began on 25 November.

Captain, Diana Scott reflected on the campaign: “We wore the white armband as a moment of visibility for an issue that goes far beyond the football pitch. We stand united against gender-based violence, and for every woman and girl who deserves safety, respect, and a voice. As a team, we are commited to advocate for continuous change, and using our platform to support those affected.”

Working in partnership with West Midlands Police and the Solihull Moors Foundation, we continue to strengthen our We Speak Up initiative, encouraging supporters, players, and staff to report concerns, call out harmful behaviours, and contribute to creating a culture built on safety, equality, and respect.

As the 16 Days of Activism continue, we invite everyone connected to Solihull Moors Foundation to stand with us, stay engaged, and play an active role in ending gender-based violence.

Together, we can help create a safer future for all women and girls in our community.
