Match Report: Solihull Moors vs Burton Albion
Solihull Moors Women claimed another three points with a confident 3-0 over Burton Albion.
Moors were quick to create their first pportunity within the first minute. Humera Ashfaq’s shot headed goal-bound from the edge of the box but the oppositions keeper made a comfortable save.
Just moments later, Moors threatened again when Maz Redmond-Lyon’s clever flick drifted narrowly wide.
Following excellent build-up play, Gina Burton played the ball out wide to Tiarna Grizzle, who whipped in a low cross into the box for Ashfaq. Her effort, however, agonisingly wide.
Before the half came to a close, Annie Highway found Grizzle on the edge of the box who fired home to break the deadlock.
