Match Report: Basford United vs Solihull Moors
Solihull Moors Women booked themselves a place in First Round Proper of the FA Cup with a 5-0 victory away against Basford United.
Moors started brightly, setting the tone from the first whistle and demonstrating their intentions from minute one.
Around the 18th minute mark, the deadlock was broken with a cross from Georgia Neath into the box. Chloe Cumberbatch knocked it for Tiarna Grizzle, who was perfectly positioned to tap it home.
They were quick to double their lead as Latia Blake found herself on the edge of the box and played through to Humera Ashfaq who slotted it past the hosts keeper. The momentum continued as Maz Redmond-Lyon made it 3-0, heading home from a Cumberbatch corner.
Just before the break, Blake opened her account for Moors, curling a stunning strike the edge of the box into the top corner to round off a dominant first half.

Within minutes of her coming off the bench, she latched onto a loose ball and fired it home from a tight angle to extend the lead to five.
Moors continued to work hard for the remaining minutes, but were unable to add any more before full-time.
