Match Preview: Solihull Moors vs Wrexham

Solihull Moors Women continue their preparations for the new season with a tough but valuable test against Wrexham Women.

Kirkland’s side will look to use the fixture to showcase squad depth, experiment tactically, and prepare for the challenges of their own campaign. Coming up against higher-level opposition, it’s also a chance to measure progress and build confidence ahead of competitive action.

For Wrexham Women, this friendly offers another step in their pre-season programme as they gear up for the Adran Premier campaign. After a strong showing last season, the Red Dragons will aim to keep standards high, with prolific forward Rosie Hughes likely to be at the heart of their attacking play.

While the scoreline won’t define either team, both clubs will see this as an important workout — one that should produce a competitive contest with plenty of attacking football on show.
