Match Preview: Solihull Moors vs Redditch Borough
Solihull Moors are back in action this Sunday as they face Redditch Borough for their first game of 2026.
Moors finished the first half of the season in fifth position with fourteen points, following their 1-0 win over Shrewsbury Town before Christmas. They now look to leave top table side, Redditch Borough, defeated at the full-time whistle.
Manager, Joe Kirkland, had this to say ahead of this weekend’s fixture:
“We are looking to continue the fantastic performance that we put in against Shrewsbury. Redditch are a great side, who will pose different threats, so we will need to adapt within different areas of the game. Ultimately, I see it as a really important game. I expect us to perform well, especially out of possession.”
The Opposition
Redditch Borough are eager to pick up another three points to see themselves remain top of the table. Alisha Sheridan is the one to watch, having netted an impressive twelve goals in eleven games, making her the current top goalscorer for Redditch and in the league.
