Match Preview: Solihull Moors vs Alvechurch
Solihull Moors Women are home for the first time this season as they welcome Alvechurch on Sunday. 3pm KO
he Moors shift their focus back to the WMRWFL after last weekend’s 2-1 victory in the FA Cup, and they are keen to extend their unbeaten start to the campaign. With both teams eager to make their mark, Moors will be looking to build momentum and deliver a strong performance in front of home supporters.
Manager Joe Kirkland said ahead of the fixture:
“We are yet to maintain our own high standards across a full 90 minutes and that disappoints me, as we need more control in games. I think we are underperforming – that’s me being honest. We have more quality than we’ve shown in the last few games, but importantly there are signs that this is beginning to develop.”
