Match Preview: Redditch Borough vs Solihull Moors
Solihull Moors Women are under the lights tonight as they face Redditch Borough (7:45pm KO).
The two sides previously met back in January, where Moors secured all three points, and they will be looking to do the same again this evening.
Manager Joe Kirkland had this to say ahead of the fixture:
“Obviously, it’s a difficult week with us playing three games in five days, so our preparation looks very different. It’ll be more about the players recovering well in between games and ensuring, physically, they can perform as they have done in recent matches. We feel good, and that’s because performances in recent games have been much better. Winning this week could determine where we finish in the league, and we want to finish as high as possible.”
The Opposition
Redditch Borough currently sit third in the table, and a win this evening would see them draw level with Shifnal Town.
One to watch is Alisha Sheridan, who has netted an impressive 16 goals in 18 games so far this season.
