Match Preview: Coventry Sphinx vs Solihull Moors
Solihull Moors are looking to pick up a further three points this evening as they take on Coventry Sphinx. (7:45pm KO)
The two sides have previously met twice this season as Moors secured a league victory. Very recently, they faced off in the League Cup semi-final, where Sphinx booked themselves a place in the final.
Joe Kirkland had this to say ahead of this evening’s fixture:
“We had a really positive performance on Sunday, so it’s important to continue that and look for a good performance once again. I have no doubt that if we perform to what we are capable of, then we should come away with all three points. Sunday was a mentality change from the last few fixtures, so we are all feeling good going into today’s game”
The Opposition
Coventry Sphinx haven’t found the league easy going this season as they currently sit tenth in the table.
Despite this, they have continued to show resilience and determination and Moors are expecting another competitive encounter.
