Match Preview: Alvechurch vs Solihull Moors
Solihull Moors Women face Alvechurch Women at The Hayes tomorrow. (3pm KO)
The two sides have already met twice this season, with Moors’ opening home fixture back in September, where they secured a dominant league victory. More recently, they faced off in the League Cup quarter-final, where a closely contested game was decided by penalties.
Manager Joe Kirkland had this to say ahead of the fixture:
“We are looking to back on track, so it’s important we approach this game with positivity and a belief we can return to winning ways. It’s really important that we have a strong finish to the season.”
The Opposition
Alvechurch sit twelfth in the table, but despite a challenging season, they have continued to show resilience and determination. Moors will be expecting another competitive encounter as both sides look to finish the campaign strongly.
