Joe Butler Joins YO Solihull Strategic Board

We’re proud to share that our very own Joe Butler has joined the YO Solihull Strategic Board — a partnership of leaders and organisations across the borough working to improve opportunities and outcomes for children, young people and families.

Joe’s appointment is a fantastic reflection of how far the Foundation has come. It highlights the growing recognition of our work in Solihull and the positive reputation built through the passion and commitment of our incredible team.

Victoria Shaw, CEO of the Foundation, stated:  “Joe’s appointment to the YO Solihull Strategic Board is a brilliant step forward for the Foundation. It recognises the impact of our work across the borough and the reputation our team has worked so hard to build. His voice on this board will ensure Solihull Moors Foundation is represented with purpose and ambition, helping us create even greater opportunities for the children, young people and families we support.”

Ali Wood, Chair of YO Solihull, commented on the appointment: “We are really pleased to welcome Joe Butler from Solihull Moors Foundation onto the Young Opportunities Solihull  board and look forward to working with him and with the Foundation in 2026 and beyond in order to increase co-operation and partnership working across the voluntary sector and to decrease duplication of services, so that together we can all maximise opportunities for children and young people across the borough”

This is another big step forward for us, and we couldn’t be more excited about what it means for the future of the Foundation. Thank you to everyone who continues to drive our mission forward every day.

Here’s to new opportunities, greater impact, and continuing to make a real difference across Solihull.
