Foundation Volunteer Of The Month: Tom Wilkinson
We are pleased to announce that Tom Wilkinson is the Foundation’s volunteer of the month for February.
Tom’s support on match days has been outstanding. From helping with our 3G activities and setting up, to assisting staff across a range of roles, he consistently brings reliability, enthusiasm and a real team-first attitude.
Tom has been part of the Foundation since he was around 10 years old, and it has played a big part in his life growing up.
“I really like to get to know people and knowing that my time and effort can positively impact other players motivates me. The foundation has been a big part of my life and I like to still be a part of it.”
One moment that stood out to Tom was realising just how appreciated his help is.
“I’ve had a few meaningful moments but the one that stood out was when I realised how appreciated I am for the help I’ve offered.”
Through volunteering, Tom says he’s learned a lot about himself and gained confidence.
“I really enjoy being part of the foundation, I’ve learned a lot about myself and gained a lot of confidence.”
Your commitment embodies everything our Foundation stands for. Thank you for everything you do, Tom!
