Ability Counts Returns to Solihull Moors Foundation
Saturday marked the return of our Ability Counts sessions following the summer break, and we couldn’t have asked for a better start to the new season. It was fantastic to welcome back so many familiar faces and see such a brilliant turnout from our players.

Our Ability Counts programme is about far more than football. It provides an inclusive and supportive environment where players of all abilities can be active, develop their skills and enjoy the game without barriers.

A key strength of the programme is our pathway, which supports players from the Under-12s age group right through to our adult teams. This gives participants the opportunity to continue playing as they grow, progress within a familiar environment and remain part of the Solihull Moors Foundation family.

Every session helps our players build confidence and independence, form friendships and experience a genuine sense of belonging. The pathway enables participants to celebrate their achievements and take the next step in their football journey at a pace that is right for them.

With our West Midlands Inclusion League fixtures fast approaching, excitement is building throughout the programme. Our players and coaches are looking forward to the start of the league campaign and the opportunity to represent Solihull Moors Foundation, put their skills into practice and enjoy playing competitive football together.

The enthusiasm, energy and smiles on Saturday highlighted just how important these sessions are to our players and their families. We are incredibly proud of the positive impact Ability Counts continues to have across our community, and we’re excited to see what this season will bring – more football, more friendships and many more special memories. ⚽💙💛
