Solihull Moors Women Celebrate a Memorable Night at End of Season Awards
Last Saturday, the Solihull Moors Women’s team came together for a truly special evening as we celebrated our End of Season Awards – a fantastic event recognising the hard work, dedication, and achievements of everyone involved throughout the season.
Held at the Arden Hotel, the evening was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on a season, from players and coaches to volunteers and supporters, the night was a powerful reminder of the incredible community spirit that drives Solihull Moors Women forward.
Trev and Lewis, our ever-enthusiastic hosts, brought the night to life with their energy and humour, keeping the room buzzing from start to finish. Their efforts helped create an unforgettable atmosphere throughout the evening.
Players were honoured for their on-field efforts, while staff were celebrated for the vital roles they play in making the team what it is.
Our award winners from the evening:
Zoe Millington – Manager’s Player of the Season
Emily Tomlins – Young Player of the Season
Floss Chambers – Player’s Player of the Season
Marsha Malik – Supporter’s Player of the Season
Georgia Neath – Goal of the Season
Zoe Millington – NIVEA Care Award
A key highlight of the night was a speech from Joe Butler, who spoke passionately about the Solihull Moors Foundation and its continued commitment to empowering women and girls in football. Joe’s words captured the essence of what the Foundation stands for – community, opportunity, and growth. He praised the resilience and unity shown by the team throughout the season and reinforced the mission to keep building on the strong foundations already in place.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our front-of-shirt sponsor, NIVEA for all the support they have given us, and for joining us at the event to present the NIVEA Care Award.
We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the Arden Hotel for hosting us so warmly and professionally. Their fantastic venue provided the perfect setting for what turned out to be a night to remember.
As we now look ahead to a new season, we do so with renewed energy and optimism. The End of Season Awards night reminded us all how far we’ve come – and how much more we can achieve together.
Congratulations to all the award winners and thank you to every single person who played a part in this season. We can’t wait to see what the future holds.
